But What If I Don’t Like Change?

Change can be one of life’s greatest challenges, yet it’s also where some of the most beautiful transformations happen.

When we’re faced with something new—whether it’s an opportunity, a loss, or a shift in direction—it’s natural to feel fear creeping in.

But fear doesn’t have to control the narrative. Instead, we can reframe change as a chance to grow, to be curious, and step into the fullness of who God created us to be.

God’s word reminds us, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

What if, rather than resisting it, we trusted in God’s perfect plan and leaned into the process with faith?

The Bible is filled with stories of individuals who faced monumental change and found their strength in God.

Abraham was called to leave everything familiar to step into God’s promise.

Esther stepped out in faith to save her people, despite the risks.

Ruth chose not to return to the familiar, but stepped forward in faith, embracing the unknown.

Their stories remind us that God goes before us in EVERY transition.

When fear arises, we can find comfort in verses like Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Grounding ourselves in these truths can shift our perspective, replacing fear with trust and uncertainty with peace.

As you navigate change, know that you’re never alone! God is with you in every step, offering guidance, strength, and peace. It’s okay to seek wisdom and support during uncertain times.

In a coaching session, we’ll explore Biblical principles and practical strategies for finding peace in the midst of change—processing the emotions, building resilience, or reframing your thoughts.

Let’s work together to turn fear into faith and embrace the new season God has for you. Are you ready to step into this next chapter with confidence and trust? Schedule a session today, and let’s journey through change together!
